Rongxiang (Ron) Liu,
Ph.D., assists
clients
in
patent
application and opinion work in the biotechnology, chemistry
and
software areas. Ron holds a doctor degree in Molecular Genetics from Washington University
in St. Louis and Master of Science
degree in Microbiology
from Chinese
Academy
of Sciences. He has published
seven peer reviewed scientific articles. Ron has worked over eight
years in the
pharmaceutical industry specializing in designing and analyzing complex
biological studies. He developed extensive working knowledge on
pharmaceutical
chemistry and software for biological data analysis.
Ron received Juris
Doctor
degree, with honors, from Temple University School of Law. He published
a
research article on patent issues related with Hatch-Waxman Act as a
law
student. Ron is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and (SOON) be
admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. He is a member of Philadelphia
Intellectual
Property Law Association and Ben Franklin
Inn
of Court.
Ron is a native
Chinese with both
undergraduate and graduate training in China. He was a lecturer at
Capital
College of Medicine in Beijing.
He
speaks
fluent
Mandarin and good Cantonese.
