Grace S. Doe started
her career in the Intellectual Property field by working as a Patent Examiner
for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) in the
area of surgical and medical technology. In addition to patent examining,
she also has experience with patent infringement analysis and intellectual
property protection while interning at the U.S. Eastern District Court of
Pennsylvania, United States International Trade Commission and the University
of Pennsylvania Center for Technology Transfer.
As an attorney at Knoble
Yoshida & Dunleavy, Ms. Doe has experience in all aspects of patent
prosecution, including client counseling and preparation of patentability
opinions, patent clearance opinions, due diligence opinions, office action
responses, U.S. patent
applications, international PCT applications and U.S. trademark applications. Ms.
Doe has worked with a wide variety of technologies ranging from complex medical
and mechanical devices to consumer products.
Ms. Doe holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor degree
from Washington and Lee University School of Law. She is admitted to the Pennsylvania bar and is
registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
